  • We offer a range of appointments throughout the day
  • The morning sessions are appointment only sessions which will only be bookable on the day, i.e. Appointments will not be pre-bookable.
  • The sessions will run from 8.30am to 11.00am. There will be a minimum of 3 clinicians on duty each day.
  • Patients will be able to make appointments by booking online, in person or by phoning the surgery from 8.00am on the day.
  • The afternoon sessions run from 3pm to 5.30pm and appointments are prebookable.
  • Extended access is provided by Bolton GP Federation. Sessions are Monday to Friday 18.30pm to 21.30pm, and Saturday 9.00am to 17.00pm.  These appointments are bookable by the Practice.
  • Please note that the GPs on duty may vary especially during holiday periods

Practice Nurse

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

Please speak to reception if you feel this may suit your needs.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Patients who miss three appointments without letting us know may be removed from the practice list.

Call us on 01204 463800 or use our Online Service to cancel your appointment.

Home Visits

Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:00.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.

Late For Your Appointment

Please attend your appointment on time, if you are late you may not be seen. If you are not seen you will not be able to rearrange your appointment until the next working day-except in the event of an medical emergency that requires immediate attention.

Text Reminder Service

We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.

To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.

Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.
